I'm sure Jack and Kate blowing everything that isn't insured to smithereens, and going back and forth on the "Which of us is willing to sacrifice our lives MORE OFTEN for each other" game for five seasons, with the big sacrificial finish in the series finale matters more than a concocted mating session that Ben saved on VHS for his own viewing pleasure. I know I'm silly, but just the level of CARE he shows her, is unreal. I can't even. Everyone else is in awe of the damn borab he just pulled from the backpack, and what does Jack do next? He urges Kate to pull up, so that he can put it under her head. I just...Out of all the moments they got in that episode, this little tiny sliver of a second of a moment just made my heart leap, in the same way it did during the "I couldn't find you" moment, but just a tad different. Forget what else happens, Kate is Jack's WIFE, and in the most uncomfortable of situations, he needed to make her feel comfortable period. Yeah, she was hurt, but the fact that the borab couldn't rival her injury or even outshine it in his eyes, was just remarkable. How he stops during all of the commotion to hover over her....*SWOON*



I love that moment. The synchronicity of their teamwork was flawless. He knew that she was checking to see if Ben was alone, and she knew TO check to see if Ben was alone.
