The Endeavour is placed atop NASA’s Shuttle Carrier Aircraft — a modified 747. Endeavour’s flight to California is the final flight for a space shuttle, with Atlantis staying on display at the Kennedy Space Center and Disovery at the Smithsonian Institution’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly.
