I say NO. The end does not justify the means. You could do many bad things by saying that they are for a good end but then is the good end really worth it? Plus then the end, nomatter how good, will always be tainted by the bad means that brought it there. We have so many examples of this topics.

The fact that we require a search warrant and have certain rights in court that define the means to arrest or incarcerate someone.
