Enabled or Get Stereo Mix on Vista?!?

Okay. So, ive watched billions of videos, read so many things on trying to enable stereo mix on windows vista. some people say go to start, then search updates, then u click windows updates. Then u see this blue bar that says extras or additions or something. THAT DOESNT SHOW UP ON MINE ! Some say, go to the speaker, right click, then recording devices. i do that, then they say right click in the white part, and show enabled and disconected devices. it stays the same! please help. D:
 
all i can tell you is to go into control panel then click on real tek high
deffinition audio,that controls all your audio,quadraphonics,5.1
7.1 etc. also sound affects.hope that helps.also i have vista in my
computer.
