alright. i've been experimenting with emule's credit system with netlimiter

i've set my emule connection to 225kB/s download and 30kB/s upload and i've limited my upload at 10kB/s. and found out that they've fixed the credit bug.

so if you upload at 10kB/s now, you download at about 10kB/s.

i increase the upload to 20kB/s, download at about 20kB/s.

so no more leechers can steal bandwidth, what you get is what you give.

You did it wrong ;)
Try 2000/300

If you have 0.28a or a similar early build, go to the top left corner and set prefferences to uploads= 80% downloads= Unlimited or 100%

Then go to netlimiter and throttle back till you get sources for your downloads. When you do, increase the upload bandwidth to maintain about 3 or 4 to 1 ratio, or more if you arent capped.
It's not a leech, it's a survival method. I would expect and hope that no one would abuse it.
 
well i tried this on the lastest build .30

yeah your method worked in .28 but i dont use it anymore ;)

balamm go to bed it's 3:30am already!! :D
