They are two different programs. I would get Emule because it has no ads, no spyware, and it's free. Emule is legal to use also because its not a hacked version of the original. It also has some features Edonkey2000 doesn't have.

GEt emule it's better and friendlier, edonkey is like you gotta pay for it i think.

last time i heard you only had to pay for overnet...thats to stop the ads i think. someone correct me if im wrong

With eMule you have to manually add a .met address to get servers to connect to. but its still alot better than eDonkey

emule comes with a file which checks several sites with server.met files, and updates it. All you have to do is go to the server tab, and select update server.met from URL and press enter, and it should add them to your list. You only need to do this once.
