...need is not valid? The employer claims business need for changing the employee's work schedules, but there is really no business need that exists. What can be done? Do companies do internal investigations or would I need an attorney?
 
Maybe, just maybe, they're trying to develop a business need at the new hour to expand their business. It's not up to the employee to decide what the needs of the business are. That's arrogance. You didn't put-up any risk. If you don't want to work the new hours, quit. Unless you have a labor agreement or contract, what good would an attorney do?
