Emma Watson has NOT quit

Following conflicting reprots in the press this weekend,
A WB Spokesman has confirmed to BBC NEWSROUND that EMMA HAS NOT QUIT. They are confident she will sign for final films.

Thank goodness for that!!
 
I disagree.

Emma's been a great actress as Hermione in the Harry Potter films, I hope she continues to be and moves on, once the relevant films are completed, to other roles as she sees fit.

Yes, she's probably going to suffer from being typecast for a while, but she's got the talent and ability to go further than Harry Potter. Look at (the sadly late) Christopher Reeve, even though he was more wellknown and typecast for as Superman, he still managed to make other films that had nothing at all to do with superheroes.
 
wouldnt surprise me if she has been offered less than rupert for the remaining films hence the delay in signing on(which i would agree with the two should get paid the same!)
 
I hope she does sign, I just dont think Harry Potter movies would be the same if a diffrent actress takes over from Emma Watson. Its good to see how they have all grown up and aged, and how their acting abilities have all gone better.
 
I read somewhere that Daniel Radcliff and the one who plays Ron get a small percentage of the box office takings but Emma dosent , which i thought was unfair
 
I personally think that if they sign to do a franchise like this, they should sign for all 7 movies from the start, the only unfortunate change in the cast was Dumbledore coz the original actor died. In a franchise, it sucks when different actors play the same character, it's tough, for me anyway, to think of them as the same person.

Imagine if someone else had played Ripley or The Terminator or Han Solo?
 
I can understand harry potter getting more money but if she is getting less than rupert, for the same work then she should hold out signing. Its completely unfair on the girl (and smacks of sexism!) :mad:
 
when they did the Times rich list, they also featured the list of 'young stars' and ti quoted how much they were all geting paid, Rupert got quite alot more than her per film.
 
Emma Watson is one of the least talented actresses I have ever had the misfortune to see. I find the Harry Potter films extremely irritating and I cannot for the life of me see why anyone would want to put themselves through the torture of watching them. Sadly, and I have no idea how I let it happen, I have seen 2 of the ones made so far and they were both absolutely rubbish.

I do, however, find it a good thing that she has signed up to do the last 2 HP films because at least it stops her appearing in and thus ruining any other films that she might have been signed up for.
