Its pretty much what everyone was saying, she is a great newsreader but GMTV wasn't for her. She is a lot better on BBC News and she looks a lot healthier too. Is she permanently on BBC News or is it just a temporary job?
Not quite. I saw Mike Morris interviews years after TVAM finished and he said to Richard and Judy: "I did the one thing I shouldn't. I just went home.... and waited for the phone to ring." (it didn't)
How do you figure that? She just sits there with a blank look on her face the whole time not knowing what to do. She couldn't ad-lib her way out of a paper bag!
That's a shame, but with CNN it might be a bit hard to do both. With most BBC News channel presenters being freelance we might see her back every now and again. If she gets good audience feedback then the BBC should consider her for a BBC Breakfast role when it moves to Salford providing the current hosts don't follow it. That would probably be another blow to ITV and Daybreak if its still on air.
