Emma Crosby on GMTV

To do what though, not many jobs out there. There seem to be a lot of female presenters out of work at the moment and can't see Garraway getting much anything.

If it was me I would be pissed to go from having the main job to being cover.
 
If only the media would stop hyping this up, when far more people die of real flu and other things. Then you wouldn't have situations where people haven't got the idea of wrong medication to take, for example.

But then the media have got nothing else to talk about until the politicians come back from their summer jollies.
 
Forgot to add, and Danslink will be happy with this if he got it, but Jenni Falconer was in an underwear shot in the Sun yesterday on Page 3 (breasts covered up, before you ask) ;)
 
Yes, Emma hasn't been doing it long, yet she's been given all 5 days a week during KG maternity leave.

I think it speaks volumes about how well Emma has done so far:)

If I remember right she was the entertainment correspondant, probably back in the heyday of Eamonn and Fiona!
 
I quite like her - she is a bit twee and I hate the way she hanRAB over to Penny for the news and says 'hi Penny' - but she seems professional and is becoming less wooden. Also, she's not Fiona Philips:D
 
Unless I dreamt it as I was waking up, she seemed to tell viewers today to ignore the health warnings for excess heat and get their paddling pools out.

The heat is potentially harmful to some elderly people, people with heart or breathing conditions, asthmatics etc.

Perhaps it was meant to be a light hearted joke but I felt it was totally irresponsible.

I think she'd probably be too self-conscious.
