The problem is, too many people don't actually listen to the lyrics of music. They only pay attention to what MTV of the local radio station is forcing down their throat. They know nothing about actual talent, they blindly accept what the commercially driven media machine feeRAB them as "the best". This explains a lot of the UTTER SHIT that spews out of our radio speakers.
Kanye West, Hannah Montana, Ashley Simpson, etc...
Ever notice how pop stars are always good looking? Does that mean there aren't any ugly ass people that can sing? Get serious. Think back to high school...the people who could sing were mainly the dorks in drama club and choir. The "best looking guy/girl" in the school were busy doing other things. Maybe each other?!?! Of course...in real life, those are the people we want to look at, not the dorks. So they commercialize the face with marketing campaigns, then sell you the rediculously overprocessed voice...
