Yesterday I did a 'free' water test at my LFS, and the pH read 7.6.
They recommended me Sea chem Acid Buffer and a pH test kit.
So much for free, haha.
Anyway, they said do a dose of Acid buffer than an hour later check the pH. If its not at 7, do another dose.
1 hour later, I checked it. 7.6 :/
So I did another dose. The next day, checked it again. 7.6 ://// Another dose...
This morning, I checked it again, 7.6 >:|
So all up I did three doses of the stuff, with no improvement, actually no change at all.
I use PRIME by seachem, and a small amount of aquarium salt.
Im not doing any more pH changing... They have been living fine for 6 months.
I would though, like to find out whats going on, so the $50 spent wasnt a complete waste of money.
Any ideas? I would like to get it to 7.
