ok ok so i was doing my weekly water change and i accidently bumped into the filter thing and it broke!!! then the filter wasnt working!! it wasnt turning the water!! i have the eclipse system 6!! i have 3 fancy guppies, 3 afican dwarf frogs and 2 ghost shrimp!! so after i realized the filter wasnt working i un assembled the filter thingy. and the spinny thing is broken! im not sure what its called the tiny black head on one side is stuck in this cup looking thing!! and i cant get it out!!!! OMG WHAT DO I DO?! every time i try to do something it doesnt work! it just makes a noise that indicates its broken! omg i put in fresh water and added de-chlorinating stuff and put all the decor back.
my main problem is is that the filter is broken so there is absolutly NO air flow i can see the nasty particles floating around in my tank and because i have no filter it is just going to sit there. !! will my fish or frogs or shrimps die!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!?!?!??!!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
what do i do? ive tried creating air by getting a cup and pouring it in the tank and tipping it over on top of the tank. and after that ive tried getting my siphon from my gravel vacum and breathing through it like an air pump!!!
I NEED HELP!!! OMG now i give up!! i have a pregnant guppy in there too. dont worry i know what im going to do!
for anyone who has the eclipse system 6. if you still have the booklet that tells you what you what each thing in the eclipse set has then you know the spinny thing?? it has a black head on both sides of it and there is a white thing that spins freely. and a black thing that also spins?!?! well that is broken does that mean i have to buy a whole new tank? or could i buy a new filter tomorrow?!!?
OMG what the crap do i do?!?!!?
maine questions:
1. will my frogs, shrimp die? and if so which will die and which will live? i have a heater!
2. i will go to petsmart around noon so will they survive until then? i have absolutly NO air in the tank or NO current in the tank!!
3. i cant do anything cause i give up. all my had work, going down the drain by one careless mistake!! I HATE MYSELF! GAH! what is the worst thing that can happen?
4. my mom says my animals will survive and not to worry cause we will go to petsmart in the "morning" for us that means noon or around 11:30am. but i know they dont sell that spinny thing. so what MIGHT happen? like might what we buy that would replace the spinny thing? a new filter perhaps?
