Howdies.
I need a Verizon phone (cause I need good fringe and travel coverage). I'd like to keep it simple and the plan as short as possible.
Needs are:
1) Good reception. Locally, I'm in a fringy area and consensus is Verizon is best. When I travel, it includes AZ, NM, TX panhandle, OK. Major and minor highways.
2) Good sound. I'm slightly hard of hearing so "weak" or bad quality sound ain't gonna cut it.
3) Good "standby" battery life. I won't use it much--and don't want to have to keep recharging it every day or two.
Do I need a quad or tri-band phone since I'll be in fringy areas when traveling? Help!
That's it! I don't give a twit about camera, movies, bluetooth, ring tones, wallpapers, data, text msgs, GPS-VDOD-MOTO-EIEIO stuff.
Most of the Verizon ads I see try to get you into a 2 year plan and a high $$$ phone with all kinds of bells and whistles. I just need a 1 year plan and a good phone, period. There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on the low level phones...suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
