Okay...I have 2 questions..
I'm staying with my favorite aunt tonight. Her and I have gotten really close these past few weeks. I've been going through a lot of boy drama and volleyball drama, and her and my mom have both just really been there for me. Anyway, I just went to the bathroom and realized that my period has started. I looked under the bathroom sink, but the only feminine protection products I found were super and super plus tampons with cardboard applicators and unrounded tips. I tried one, but it hurt too much and I couldn't get it in. I'm used to using pads or slender tampons with plastic applicators. I'm embarrassed, and I don't know how to ask my auntie if we can make a quick run to the store. I don't want her to be offended or think I'm weird that I can't just use her tampons...they're too big and I can't get them in there. What should I tell her? And all the medicine in this house is locked up so my lil cousins don't get into the cupboards and accidently take it. Should I just ask if she has any Midol or Pamprin? I don't really mind asking about the meds...I'm just kind of embarrassed to tell her that I can't use her tampons.
My other question is when you go to the doctor and they ask you questions about your period, and they ask how many days of flow you have, are you supposed to include the days where it's like sticky brown discharge at the end? Or do you just count the days of actual red blood?
