email on lingo???

has anyone gotten the email program on the lingo to actually work? I cant

also is the lingo considered a pda for the pda subforum?

also will the cricket branded razr2 in the phx markets which are evdo capable *228 to the 1050 prl because I was in a cricket store and their razr2 only had a 1040 prl
 
Lingo is not a pda. Just a regular phone with the qwerty. i had one for a few months. didnt have a problem with it. Just wanted something to hop on the internet while im bored at work. Great for texting. Picture messaging was so so. Screen was too small for any real browsing but it came in handy during the March Madness tournament.
 
yeah...a friend in phoenix was going to buy a lingo for $200 from cricket and i said, "hey, i can get the enV for $205 after everything from verizon prepaid."

they said, "sure, that would be cool," then called me next day from their new lingo.

i just laughed. but i laughed harder when they caled me less than 2 weeks later asking if i wanted to buy the lingo and they could pay a difference for the enV...lol.

i don't think so...ROFLMAO
 
yes it is an application that the phone ships with -- an email application. However, I guess since the browsing is not evdo it is very slow and always takes a very very long time and then errors out due to timeout. But assuming it did not time out I was wondering if it even would work at all.


I would like the info please post if you can about how to get an env prepaid for $205. I think it would be good to get env prepaid on nam 2 for internet/web/roaming and the put cricket on nam 1 with the cheapest plan if this would work it would be a good corabination.

so apparently *228 to an evdo razr2 in the phoenix market will not give you the evdo prl. And, phx evdo is working but only for those who uploaded the evdo prl according to the evdo status post thread.
 
i'm not sure if the offer is still good, but i'm sure it is...i posted a link in one of the berry's vx9900 thread or something...not really sure where i posted it...you'll just have to search to find it...it was on verizon's website...

if you follow the link and they won't let you order for the price, then try putting in a houston zip...it may be a market specific offer...if you don't have anyone in houston then you can ship here and i'll ship to you but you pay shipping...

anywho- enjoy if you find it and it's still a valid offer.
