Elizabeth Berkley in Donnie Darko Sequel !!!

This pointless sequel has just got worse.

Why on Earth are they making a follow up to a perfect film , and then putting in a useless bint like Elizabeth Berkley.

Is any one going to see this when it comes out ??

I wonder if this will be the film that finally tops Showgirls in so terribly awful its good. But in a bad way lol

She should be trying to get a Saved By The Bell Reunion together not ruining one of the best (yet still soooo confusing) films of the past few years.

The sequel of "Donnie Darko" is "S. Darko"(Samantha Darko):

"The story picks up seven years after the first film when little sister Samantha Darko (played by Daveigh Chase who played Samantha Darko in the original Donnie Darko film) and her best friend Corey are now 18 and on a roadtrip to Los Angeles when they are plagued by bizarre visions."

Might be good, can't judge something which hasn't been made yet and haven't seen.

This film is nothing to do with Richard Kelly. Someone who got kicked off the original film has used the idea and there's nothing legally RK can do.

I can and can say with almost 100% certainty that it will be crap. Donnie Darko was hardly a box office success and fans are likely to be put off, they'd be better off just doing it as a standalone film on its own merits - whatever they may be.
