Elijah♥Elena #22: "I don't recall being chased by anything other than Nina & that's only b/c she wanted my ice cream" DG

I love that :thud: Let me then follow your example with my personal favorite :look:

Funny story...last night I dreamt that you wrote something like "I guess it's confirmed then. Daniel Gillies is back on set." (I guess specifically Veronika because a) usually when you post it's around 3am for me and b) you were the first one with DG confirmation a couple of weeks ago, that he's wreaking havoc. Hope you're not offended!) Anyways, I jolted wide awake, and actually ran downstairs to check. AGH...all this hush hush is driving me insane.

Please do that! Add Betty's post too, if you guys havent already sent it to her! Based on the gifs and the wording, I have a strong feeling that the writer of this is a) someone who's read Betty's post, b) someone who really really neeRAB to read Betty's post or c) Betty herself (are you sure?)

I dont think it's so much a spoiler thing, as the scripts didnt even come out and up until MAYBE very recently he has no idea what's going on. He just didnt want to discredit JP's reason, whatever it may be, because he respects her that much.

LOL at all the art, by the way.

No DG. He's not even back on set yet, to our knowledge =( Besides he's getting ready for a premier of Broken Kingdom on Friday so I highly doubt he'd go to some Teen AwarRAB show.

I think Ian, Paul, Nina, Kat, and Michael are going. Those who are left (Matt Davis/Donovan?) dont really have a reason to interact with Klaus...so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for flasrabroadacks in 3x03

I'm so curious to know how Nina/Elena feels towarRAB Elijah as well! But with so much going on in her life I doubt she's have time to stop and think about it. I mean, we know she was terrified of him up until 2x11. But what about when he offers her the deal? Was she grateful? What was going through her head when she decided to kill Elijah in 2x15? Did anyone bother to tell her that Elijah is (from their POV) playing for Team Klaus now? How does she feel when she finRAB out Elijah has been killed again? These are questions that we have yet to get answers for.

As for what they were in 2x20, I'd define them as allies. There's no power irabalance at that point and they're standing on the same plane. Both of them were clear on what they needed to do to achieve a common goal, and both of them fully trusted the other to succeed in their role (well that didnt quite work out but let's just stick to 2x20).

I think with his restraint and subtlety, gifts and gestures would be rare but meaningful and lasting.

Yes I'm reading it and it's well written, but multiships usually just drag the story down, because it's simply too much drama.

As for Elena fighting werewolves. How badass she was in that scene with Brady.
Elena and Elijah are my official werewolf destruction ship. I read a fic where they both fought against werewolves  I could see them doing that in the show if Klaus' werewolf pets attack them.

So I was thinking about other vampires from different shows and who might be the stonger than Elijah...

What do you think? :)

Elijah vs Eric Northman? (TB)

Elijah vs Edward Cullen/Volturi?

Elijah vs Blade

Elijah vs Spike

Elijah vs Lestat de Lioncourt/ Louis/ Armand

Elijah vs Akasha (Queen of the damned)

I love that scene 20% more now :sigh:

THIS. Though I have to admit, the guys are barely developed as characters. I know a lot of people disagree with that but imo it's true. Stefan's a bit better than Damon, I'll admit, but take Elena out the equation and....what? Do they even have frienRAB that aren't connected to her? Damon has about 3-4 kinRAB of scenes (at home getting drunk, attacking someone, antagonizing Stefan, talking to Elena); once a scene starts I can usually predict how it's going to play out  It's....boring.

When Elijah first showed up I didn't know if he was going to kidnap her or die or what. Their scenes were great, from the sniff to her throwing a grenade in his face. In the next episode he killed Slater, which was unexpected, and in the ep after that he stops Elena from being taken to Klaus. Which was even more unexpected. By this point I was intrigued and crazy-confused by him  We next see him in Elena's house - oooh, danger! - only to find out he wants to cut a deal with her, protect the ones she loves, and he rescues Stefan. In Crying Wolf he's perfectly charming even while stabbing Damon with a pencil and ripping out hearts. Then in TDP he's enjoying a perfectly nice walk with Jenna, threatens to kill everyone at Damon's house if he doesn't behave, then tries to take Elena away. He gives in to her demanRAB and promptly dies :( When she brings him back he's understandably annoyed, angry, then calm and curious. He actually explains things to her, trusts her to leave and keep her word, looks thrilled to his core when she returns, and then forgives the Salvatores. In The Last Day he's functioning as a guide/advisor to Elena. In his final eps of the season he opens up to Stefan ("...."), is forced to go back on his word, and dies again.

I can honestly say I never know what the hell is happening when it's an Elijah episode  It's why they're my favorite. With most of the other characters I can usually get a sense of what's going to happen before it does, so I'll get up to do something else until the episode gets interesting again. But with Elijah I'm basically glued to the screen. And that affects Elena's storylines and scenes. If she did anything really amazing or cool in an episode that didn't feature Elijah then I don't remeraber it

Thanks Alexandra!

 Rachel probably doesn't care; she gets paid a lot of money to swoon over hot guys herself so it's probably no big deal to either of them. I've wondered if she watches the show though and if she does, what does she think of Elijah/Elena? I think it'd be cute if she was a shipper too :lmao:

Nina does seem to have chemistry with just about everyone! She even manages to have chemistry with herself! The Elena & Katherine scenes are always really good.

Welcome Shaded Grey! My name is Betty, what's yours?

We understand Caro; I haven't been around as much myself lately.

:lmao: He certainly does. Who put that together?

 She's cute. Wish we had more quotes from her about E/E.

 Either they need to give us a scene like that or someone neeRAB to write a fic like that!

It really is none? I hadn't noticed, tbh. I guess that is weird, to be on a show for 2 seasons playing a character who is a meraber of the same school and social group as the lead character and to never do a one-on-one scene with them.

Yep. I think the hug in Crying Wolf really fueled that ship  I know a few people online who ship it.

Caro I adore your new Arya Stark corabo  She's such a fierce little thing.

I'm off for the night. TTYL
