It's just so odd because when he walks he has this graceful authoritative stride. Any faster than that and he's just lirabs flailing all over the place. And I love him for that.

I typically dont like men that swear because I like eloquent men (or guys who at least know how to express themselves creatively), but Daniel's probably one of the most eloquent and expressive men on earth so that it's adorable when he does it.

When asked a really difficult question on the VRO: "$*iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.....oh! pardon me *thinks some more* *can't answer quesiton* ****!" *stalls for time by repeating the question*



You think the leather pants had something to do with his gawkiness?

Maybe he needed some time alone to get into character? Anyways, I love how off-screen Daniel in Elijah clothing is basically Elijah.
 
I dont know how far they got with that scene though. It might be just in the script and never made it to the reel. Can someone confirm that they actually filmed it?

I keep hearing music in non E/E scenes that my reaction would be "Isnt that the song when Elena and Elijah [insert awesome character development here]". It seems like before their music was kind of generic tension music, whereas later on, esp. in 2x19 music was written specifically for their scenes. Like the scene where Elijah wakes up and flasrabroadacks the wrong Petrova / when Elijah tells Elena he can save her life.

I also noticed that the music for when Elijah almost kills Klaus and when Klaus returns the favor is the same lol.
 
Honor, that was a brilliant analysis and I agree of course. I also want to add that I love that scene because Elena was supporting his body. There is this incredible shift in power balance, because Elijah is like x1000 stronger than this human girl, yet she's there supporting him literally. Ugh. I could gush forever over each EE scene!

I wouldn't be opposed to that :lol: Nothing I've heard about this character makes me like her, and frankly the whole storyline just means I'm going to want to smack someone. Better it be Elijah smacking her head off, yeah?

I'm letting you guys know now: due to the selfish nature of the wealthier citizens of Texas, a near year-long drought, and triple digit heat, we're now potentially looking at rolling blackouts. They say they might start today and could got for a few days. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I might not be around for a ton like usual.

Is it just me or is he very old-school formal with Elena? I mean, Elijah is a very formal guy in the first place but it's in a modern way with most people. He twirled Andie and was very buddy-buddy with Jenna. But with Elena, he adopts sort of centuries-old mannerisms; the arm on the mantelpiece, fetching her jacket for her, gentlemanly gesturing for her to sit and waiting patiently until she was comfortable to start. And he just does not touch her, not since he was brought back.
