Ok. Through building an extra line on the account to get my bf's phone, then upgrading mine when his was eligible, now my phone is eligible to upgrade... so I've been itching.

I like the lg8300 but we sell too many of them, I'd feel like a sheep.
Razr even more like a sheep (plus don't really trust it).
9900 would be hard for me to get used to, so many slight differences from 9800 (though I did
 
Just a note: It's the 8600 and 8700, not 9600 and 9700.

If you don't want an LG 8300 (and I don't know why not, it's easily the best modern Verizon phone) you should try the Motorola V325i if you don't care about EVDO/Vcast, or the Samsung a930 if you want something similar to the 8300.

Then of course there is the G'zOne Type V. The Type S should be coming soon, which adds Bluetooth and a microSD card slot. If you want a cheap rugged phone, get the Type V now because it will be gone in the next month.

The only reason I don't want the 8300 is because I hand so many of them out, haha. Also I think it could do without the external "intenna". But otherwise it's easily my favorite phone that vzw is offering right now. And I do like VCast (I love the employee pricing on it too).

The G'zOne... I might wait for the Type S. If it's not as fugly as the type Z I'll consider it. I guess after carrying around the Treo I want a pretty phone again. Yea for rugged and bluetooth?

I'm itching for a new phone, but it seems that I've decided on waiting to choose between whatever replaces the sam930, or lg8300, and the type S.
 
I've seen the Type S, not in person, though. It's in our systems at work. It's a lot nicer then the Type Z, it's somewhat shinier and doesn't have that huge bumper-cars bumper on the flip. The keypad looks MUCH better, too. Be warned though - a female co-worker of mine said while it looked good, it looked "manly".
 
I've also seen the Type S. I like the blue. I keep joking that if they offer a purple phone I'll buy it. Maybe some purple bling?

I'll wait until I see it in person, though, which shouldn't be too much longer, they're already on the rebate form!
