Would you be able to pls answer these questions in most deatil as possible?


The element of a hot water system is rated at 7.5kW when it is used on the 240V mains.

(a)What current does the element draw?
(b)What is the resistance of the element?
(c)What is the cost of operating the system for 8 hours at a rate of 55c per unit?

power = voltage x current,............ find current through this

apply ohms law to find resistance (v=ir)

power = work/time

find work multiply by rate to find cost....
