Alright, a magnetic storm in Canada in 1989 knocked out all power in Quebec. So here's a question to any scientifically minded people. Are some types of electronics more "EMP resistant" than other types? For example, would old school hand held radios, the clunky kind from the 70s, be less likely to be shorted out than a cellphone?
