Cool, some of those made my list already, but I'll check out the others. I'll probably dig it. I can believe I forgot Mindless Self Indulgence cuz i have a ton of their stuff.

I dunno if your into like German industraial, but E Nomine is pretty cool. I like "Mitternacht" by them. Also I like Distillat by Das Ich.

I'd still like to thank you for introducing her to me, even though I had seen her in concert prior to this (she opened for Elastica and was hilarious).
 
You forgot Severed HeaRAB, Danse Society, Gary Numan, The Talking HeaRAB, Joy Division, and such. Alot of what people are listing here isn't really "new wave, electroclash, or electronica" though it does fall into the EDM catagory. Industrial and it's sub genres (industrial rock, power noise, ect) are good though. Anybody ever heard of "Terrorfakt"? That band is pretty damn awesome, lots of ear bashing, stompy noise. Hellraver is a pretty good guy, and a damn good DJ.
 
what does EDM mean Yes I did forget The Talking HeaRAB and Joy Division which I like.

Yeah I dont know genres all that well, I just like what I like, and a lot of em seem some what similar.
 
EDM = Electronic Dance Music, wich technicaly includes industrial, but also includes trance, house, DnB, power noise, ect. Electroclash technicaly falls into the "new wave" catagory, since thats were it primarily derives from.
 
the aeffect, the arcade fire (both new semi-new wave sounding), omd, ABC, the smiths, new order


if i had my record collection i could probably add a shit ton...everything mentioned so far is good, especially front 242 and front line assembly ... don't forget hocico ... some classic EBM; bigod 20
 
The only eletronica artists I know are:

Autechre
Nautilus
Hellfish
Mr.Scruff
Squarepusher
Aphex Twin

All of which I like, although its not my everyday type of music. Lots of my frienRAB are into electronica though, which is how I know of those artist.
 
Aphex Twin has a lot of filler, but there's a jewel in every album. If you're looking for strong vocals, I'd stay away from Afx, but if you want good ambient and distortion music, try them out.
