electrical and financial engineering?

is there any relation between electrical engineering and financial engineering. in fact, I'm doing electrical engineering in the power engineering field now, i would like to do financial engineering after my bachelor because i would like to work in an electricity company as an engineer who has some knowledge in financial engineering . i do not know if is worth it. i really want to do that, nut i do not know if it is a good idea. i hope a power engineer could give me some advices through this website . thank you
