Electric Violins- Fender or Yamaha?

Ok so i just tried out the Fender electric violin and its just ok. I was also going to try the Yamaha electric violin but the store didnt have any of them set up (they had just gotten the shipment). If i get a Yamaha, which silent violin should i get? And are Yamahas even any good?
 
I think Fenders a better (whats the word...)-> "make" of guitars than yamahas. I'm not sure about violins. But still, Fender is a tad better of a "make" /brand.
