Elections: Ya ever wonder why the only basic avatar choice here is male only?

I wonder cause the pixs don't work anymore, the color avatar excludes so much but the choice for the simple grey avatar is male only. now you know that aint right and suggests a certain bias. just didn't think about it, huh? male bias at the top.
 
I think when you first make a yahoo answers account you should select male of female and the "default" avatar should be set accordingly.
 
days bygone it use to be a smiley face. now on the 360 a generic image is both a man and woman standing next to each other. that would be cool to incorportate that one into here.
