I have a 96 Windstar that I was driving last year and it suddenly it died. All the dash lights come on then it died. Today I charged the battery and went to start it and it acted like the battery was low. I checked my cables and the tried to start it again and it started no problem. I drove it around for awhile and them parked it and was checking the fluids then when I went to start it back up and it started right away. I shut it down because of a squealing noise and then went to try and start it but it just clicked. Could I possible have a ground wire lose. I checked the cables to the starter and the block ground and they look good. I'm gonna have the alternator checked tomorrow along with my battery.
