egg salad

I was going to ask for egg salad recipes (What's Up Tiger Lily?)
but I forgot, then I asked my wife who doesn't really cook and
to my surprise she said "oh I know what should go in it: peas,
carrots, garlic, and ham." And mayo of course. And you know what?
It's pretty good!

I'll remember the ricer thing for canapes. I never thought of that.
But I'd never do that for sandwiches as you said.

This has always been the standard egg salad recipe in my home. We like
ours a little chunkier so I use a pastry blender but I have used things
like an old-fashioned Mouli grater to chop HB eggs.

BTW, I knew Jerry's first wife and she was a wonderful lady.

Spelling doesn't count. Cooking does.

that looks good too!

it's funny, while eating my egg salad I had a deja vu moment, sort of
like when you wake up the next afternoon after passing out around 5am
and the awareness gradually sets in that you in a vaguely familiar place
but not in the usual way, such as lying on the front porch...
anyhow my mom makes a ham salad which includes eggs, and eating this egg
salad with a little bit of ham in it was like waking up on the porch

Sriracha goes great in egg salad. Sriracha mayo is very popular. The
combination got it's start as a sushi sauce. And now it's being
applied to all sorts of things.

But I invented the egg salad idea (and posted it here) before it
became so fashionable.
