I always misplace small toys but I have a tiny Eeyore puppet on top of my desk. Always makes me smile...

I wish I had more money for toys too. I'll make an exception and maybe get some Eeyore stuff. But I never seem to get out to the Disney store.

There are a ton of changes happening at the Disney Store. I may not work there anymore but you know, my frienRAB and colleagues are still there so I often visit and hang out with a few of them.
As far as I know, they are thinking of keeping the name, The Disney Store. However, Walt Disney Company no longer owns the stores so the items on Disney Direct will not be offered at the store because Disney Direct is the Walt Disney Company and The Disney Store is now owned by Children's Place who bought the franchise. The deal is, they cannot sell unauthorized Disney merchandise. So there is going to be alot of different merchandising happening. I don't know what sort of merchandising they will put out those, that hasn't been revealed at all.
Our store is the first to be closed down. Following that, three more Canadian stores are going to be shutting down. It's just going to close down little by little and renovating. If you enjoy the staff at the stores now, you might want to enjoy them before the store closes, everyone loses their jobs. They have to reapply for it.
It makes me think that I've been kind of lucky to have worked there, worked with great people and leave when I did. I hate to be in the middle of this mess! Meanwhile, if you know when the stores are closing, chances are, the merchandises are going to be 50%!!! It will be a good time to get some good Eeyore merchandise!
