Your Question
what use are educational pyschologists?
right a person who doesn't know your son from 'Adam' walks into the school or nursery, they expect the child to immediately bond with them, and answer their assessments to the best of their abilities, not taking into account, concentration, tiredness, lack of knowing the psychologist, their results are closely seen as accurate results the child is judged solely on the results of these tests. The child is then treated as such by the psychology department, and if results are low, are expected to have low expectations. Future schooling, although apparently under parental control, is wholeheartedly judged on these results, and parents are bullied into making incorrect decisions for their children.
Could any other psychology department have such little evaluation to speculate accurate results?
Why is an educational psychologist not expected to spend more time with the child to make more accurate assessments, and if time is restricted by money, then why have educational psychologists in the first place, if they cannot provide accurate evaluations???
