If you are taking a PELL grant to help with tuition...

I am pretty sure (not entirely) that you have to claim it...if it is claimed, however, on the tax form with the Life time learning credit...does it also have to be listed in adjustments to gross income?

***I have already used the Good hope credit twice.
***I do not pay enough in tuition to make the tuition deduction on the adjusted gross income section worth it.
Okay...let me rephrase this....where do I put the PELL grant on my taxes....do I put it there at all. (ie...on lifetime learnign credit form...my tuition is "x", but I received "y" in PELL grant, and it leaves me "z"....) or is there a form that it an FYI about tuition.......

The question is more do I report the grant on my taxes....and where....?

Thank you for the two of you that have answered the question so far...
