Education system in america... please explain!!!!?

so, im thinking about going to University in America in 2 years time (when im 18)

But im finding everything very complicated, hearing names like: grad-school, college etc.
If im 18 in America - where will i be?

will i be an under-graduate? etc
I'll have Alevel and GCSE qualifications from England.

Can someone please explain the system over there,

I am completly agree with RudieCantFail 's answer ... you might be need some Special test to join 4 year college like SAT ... this test score will help you to get a good college or uni. More score better school ................... am from Philadelphia,PA,USA and we have a great Drexal uni. and Temple uni. you can call them and thay will help you Better than this all answer ..... because almost every country have a different education system and Some subjects ..... .
