All I have to do is look at the Election results from 2008, and I know that Education has failed us.
The cartoon is a good example of the 'new improved' priorities, and why they smell worse than a pile of ... well, you know... obama.

But after seeing those folks at the town hall meetings and visiting many forums, including this one, I no longer wonder why other countries are leading us in math, science, technology, and in some cases, even English.

in all honosty, i think its not, im a freshman in high school and obama is talking about making school hours longer for student, sadly ): .. and kids my age in asia are taking pre calculus. its really depressing :/
