Education in Black scientists/inventors?

I really believe that the national curriculum should incorporate some history about black greats in all areas of the education spectrum. I think this because the bulk of what we were taught about black history was negative and so that was the sort of idea some of the pupils adopted towards other black students.

What do you guys think?

You see the problem with that is that its used as a political tool by black racists, there is an infamous website with loads of black inventors on it which is often used as propaganda. The problem is half of it isn't true. They say certain people invented things, like the Traffic light, when they invented a type of traffic light that wasn't the first or the best traffic light. So technically they invented a traffic light, but they are not the inventor of the traffic light. We should just stick to the facts, an inventor should be celebrated for his achievements not the colour of his skin.

I'm not really aware of many great black people.

I suppose there are a few that have been awarded greatness for the sake of political correctness.

Why would you want to separate black great people from white great people?

I AGREE 100%! The more we educate people about the accomplishments of Blacks, the less we would just have 30 days to celebrate Black History, then it would be American History instead of just Black History.

Well apparently it was a black man who invented the internet. He made major contributions to developing the net as we know it today, but went unrecognised and was sent back to Africa with a measly pay off.
For that reason he wrote and told me of his plight and even gave me a link to his web site which told the whole story, and he desperately needed my help in transferring funds if only I would give him my bank account details.
