EDU: Incorporate Drinking into Wii Sports

Here's how we were playing drinking games for Wii. Kind of a rough outline; like all drinking games.

Details might not be completely ironed out; most of them advocate a whole lot of drinking... might not be so safe getting drunk around your new investment.

Tennis: Pretty fun, because of usage of teamwork. We played Best of 5 mode, and layed it out so each time you lost a match, your team would have to chug a cup of beer. After the winning team gets it victory thingy in Wii Sports, the losing team then takes double chugs of beer. Kind of keeps it competitive. Might be too much drinking. You can always iron it out. Maybe lower it to Best of 3 mode and just drink after the final winning match.

Golf: Hadn't gotten to really test this, but here goes. Problably would want to learn the gist of this game before bringing in the drinking element. But for every plus stroke, you take a drink. So if you sink a bogey, take one chug. For a +3, take three. If you score below par, you have someone else drink the number below. So if you sunk a birdie, tell someone to take a shot. If you got a hole-in-one on a par 3, tell someone to take two shots. This game could perhaps lead to a lot of anger, and a lot of drinking, since we had a few plays today that were +8 and +10 and so on

Bowling: Couldn't think of a good idea for this one. I think a good one would be to drink for the number of seconds of pins remaining after your second stroke. So if you have 2 pins remain, you'd drink for 2 seconds. If you had 5 pins remain, drink for 5. If you get a spare, you don't drink, if you get a strike, you tell someone to chug a drink. Hadn't done this one, so maybe this isn't that good of an idea.

Baseball - Couldn't think of one

Boxing - Couldn't think of one; also two-player, so it'd be harder. Perhaps in a schoolgrounds style or play, if you lose, you take a shot, hand the controller onto the next person. But since this would be more elongated, perhaps the shots would be hard liquor over beer.

Of course, these were just thought up. You could always post up your own variations. I know some of you are looking to have Wii parties, so these are some great ones to boot!

Drinking games are just an excuse to get drunk. If your into that sort of stuff that would be pretty fun. But getting drunk for the sake of getting drunk is pretty dumb IMO.

I like the taste of alcohol. But when I'm getting drunk, I'm getting drunk for the sake of getting drunk. Not because I enjoy the taste. If I am drinking something to enjoy the taste odds are I'm not going to be getting drunk.
