I thought it was brilliant, Johnny Depp was superb (as he is in everything) and the whole thing had me in stitchs.
Particularly enjoyed the "Glen or Glenda" bit

i thought martin landau as lugosi was great - he really deserved the oscar he got for that part.

Martin landau is probably the most underated actor in business today

A superb actor, in every respect of the trade


Space 1999 would have been bolox without him (well the Eagles , Barry Morse, the great explosion effects, that Ozzie pilot, the horny woman/animal changling, those kettle handle weapons with visible battery compartments, and the 2" B/W portable comminicators, added something to the appeal)

Ed Wood is a good movie and I think the team of Depp with Tim Burton's skills alwasy seems to work well.

I actually wanted to see Plan 9 From Outer Space after seeing Ed Wood.

This is a very good movie and the whole cast is excellent. Going to buy the Special Edition DVD coming out in February for sure.

I loved Ed Wood.

You've GOT to see Ed Wood's original films! Plan 9 is one of the least entertaining of Ed Wood's films IMO. Glen or Glenda and Night of the Ghouls are much better/funnier. Glen or Glenda is great. It's got an amazing dream sequence in it!
And Bride of the Monster is around in the shops on a cheap triple horror bill, usually in the bargain baskets.

One of Burton's best, for sure. Very funny but remaining sympathetic to the central character
