Economy was doing fine when we were spending. Stimulus ran out a while ago and was too heavy on tax cuts.

Now Republicans turn every single budgetary measure into a chance to try and slash necessary and beneficial programs and turn everything into a poorly crafted last minute deal threatening the financial standing of the US time after time.
