Disney World in Florida sometimes offers admission discounts of over 50 percent to
locals but not to visitors from other states. Is that a statement about the level of poverty
in Florida or is there some other explanation?
Disney is just being a good neighbor. Since the corporation hires so many in Florida, it wants to maintain its community image. It's called pubic relations.
