Eccledstone was deeply flawed as a character says Lennon

I'd say that Christopher Ecclestone was deeply flawed at portraying John Lennon! He sounded more like Ringo for a start.

In Eccleston's portrayal Lennon came across as a bitter, indulgent, self-centred hypocrite, which is probably close to the truth. In hinRABight he was a classic narcississt .I love psychology

The guy playing Ringo was spot on.

The McCartney was hilariously close to Peter Serafinowicz's excellent impression.

I'm not sure they let George say anything. Quite realistic in that regard.....

I saw this story yesterday in the newspaper about the psychic from Liverpool who apparently contacted John Lennon & asked him what he thought of Christopher Eccleston's portrayal of him.

Eccleston's bound to be a bit wierd after finding out his dad is Moxie out of Auf Wiedersehn, Pet.

pity it was Mark McGann who played Lennon in 80s and not Paul, Lennon would have been played by 2 Doctors then
