Ebay fairings... any thoughts?

I dont. I traded by 848 for a 1098.
I yet have to take my 1098 to the track but it already feels like more power than I may need..
I had a blast with my 848 at the track last year.. I was full trottle the entire time... I doubt I'll be able to do the same with the new 1098... I had a hard time trying to keep the front wheel down with the 848.. just imagine with the 1098
 
I just tried again.. not sure if I know how to get the 848 out of my registry..

between the two.. the 848 seemed easier to drive... the 1098 has so much power and you feel it every time you move the throttle a little bit.. cant wait to go to the track with it..

I swear I was this close to get the Hypermotard.. how do you like it?
 
I haven't riden it yet. I put a deposit on it in December and wait for spring to get delivery... I rode my 848 on both track and street last year. For this year I'll have an 848 for the track only and the Hyper for the street. I'm sure I won't be disapointed!

the 848 is a little too much for the streets.
plus I'm tall -6.2- and the HM is so comfortable... you can pop wheelies in any gear ;-)

btw.. speaking of fairings... so does anyone know what is the best solution?
Ebay's fairing are half price compared to Sharkskinz or HotBodies... worth to try?

does anyone know anything about it?
 
the ABS fairings you buy from chinese factories on ebay for realy cheap wont hold up to the composite fairings made by sharkshinz, ect. Also their ABS bodywork is alot heavier than composit stuff and breaks and cracks easier.

I just got fairings from Nice Cycle... $829 shipped... great customer service.. I got mine tot custom at no extra charge..
