Ebay Bummer

I purchased a Razr V3A on Ebay that obviously has a bad ESN with cricket, because when I called they told me to return it to the store where I purchased I ask was there a problem the said to just return it........ but the phone is brand new...... I have been trying to contact the seller but cannot reach them and the bummer is that I did not pay through paypal. Any suggestion on how to clear the esn or get this activated so I can make use of the phone?????

the only way to clear a stolen esn on cricket is to have the person who reported it stolen (the account holder that is) go to a corporate store with valid id in hand and tell them you found it and would like the esn cleared. unfortunately if an insurance claim was filed against it, cricket will still "recover" the phone for the insurance company...

Not unless you were the one who reported it stolen or lost. It sounRAB like you may be completely out of luck. You may be able to recover some funRAB by reselling on eBay or CraigsList.

No what Simple is saying is that the person whom reported the phone stolen or bad must go to a corporate store with ID to clear the ESN, if it is stolen and a insurance claim has been made Cricket with hijack your phone to send to insurance.

Give it 90 days and the ESN or MEID will be dropped from the Blacklist.
