eb/gamestop midnight system release ?

I have 2 EB's near me..
Both took 15-16 preorders, but are getting in 25(ish) systems..
They plan on selling the extra to people in line.
 
You are soooo fucking wrong. I work at Gamestop and I know, for a fact, that every Gamestop/EB in the entire nation has either 8 or 16 PS3's for launch day. And those 8 or 16 are completely reserved. You will not be able to walk into a Gamestop/EB on launch day and pick up a PS3 ANYWHERE in the United States. So STFU.

i just called gamestop, i was told they are NOT doing a midnight release for the ps3 but they will open early at 9am on Friday to release it.

Wii's will be released Saturday at Midnight
 
First of all, buy a fucking AV you silly piece of shit.
Secondly, I spoke directly with a district manager for my local EB who gave me that info.
Thirdly, fuck off and die in a puddle of your own vomit.
Fourthly, repeat steps 1 thru 3.
 
They aren't even doing preorders online because they need to come up with units to cover the preorders, and even then some won't be able to be honored. I have a feeling the dm at those EBgames has no idea what's going on.
 
You're an idiot. Gamestop and EB aren't even getting enough PS3s to fill preorders. They're not even offering online bundles/preorders until all in-store preorders are filled.

it isn't happening for the wii either. all wiis that EB receive are accounted for via pre-orders. you will have absolutely 0% of picking one up at EB games on launch day unless you preordered.
