Eating old pretzels I found?

I've found this here bag of old soft pretzels I bought from the pretzel factory about a year ago today. I don't get me my welfare check in the mail until around the 20th of this here month. So me and my 10 kids are hurting for money for some food to feed my babies. Why has God dealt me these horrible cards to play? I try playing the lottery every gosh darn day but I never seem to win! I'm goin off on a rant here now so I'll leave you with my question: can me and my family safely eat these here soft pretzels (well not they're hard pretzels) without getting sick or anything else negative? Also how much pretzel per person should I ration to each of my kids so they don't starve for the next week until the saving grace of the welfare check comes? I believe I have 15 pretzels in this here baggy.

eh, they wont taste good, but i guess its ok. u need to stop playing the lottery though. theres about a 1 in 187974095830945 chance you will win, odds against you. if you spend $1 a day on lottery tickets, your wasting $7 a week! also, why r u paying for internet bills and tv bills but not paying for food?!?! SELL YOU COMPUTER AND TV AND BUY UR KIDS FOOD
