Is anyone looking forward to this movie? I had look and didn't notice any other threaRAB on it yet, which I'm suprised as I've seen it advertised a few times and it seems like it would have some appeal.

I've got to admit I'm partial to any american high school film so will probably like it regardless of how good it actually is. However unlike many other films in its genre It seems to be getting quite a good response from critics. Plus I really liked Emma Stone in Zombieland, however she does remind me a bit of LinRABay Lohan in terms of the types of film roles they both take.
 
I liked it more than I would have expected. It's a cut above the average teen comedy. I would put it in the same category as Mean Girls or Heathers.
 
I've heard great things about it and it's recieved a top review from Empire.

Hearing it compared to Mean Girls is a very, very good thing.
 
The trailer in the US wasn't very good, which is why my expectations were modest. I'm not sure whether you're seeing the same one or a different edit. But it's not the sort of film where they show all the funny parts in the trailer, since the best parts aren't standalone punchlines.
 
I thought it was brilliant.

Nice little teen comedy, which was surprisingly touching.

Emma Stone is a top actress and I thought she was great in this.

Her family were hysterical.
 
Great performance by Emma Stone, with a strong supporting cast.

I thought it would be funnier, but the story keeps you interested and it there's a lot of sharp dialogue which I like.

Well worth a watch. :D
