I'm really into photo editing and have been doing it for probably about a year. However, I only used Picnik-Premium -- sometimes with the exception of fotoflexer.com. Anyway, I'm beginning to grow tired of the same old effects on Picnik, and I know a girl whose photos are amazing and she says she uses Photoshop. So I created a photoshop.com account and decided I would try to branch out my abilites on there. I uploaded some pictures into a library and clicked edit... but the only things I could basically do were touch-up, adjusting the lighting... adding tint... and changing it from color to black-and-white. And I couldn't even customize it- it was more like a "click on the button & select which version of the effect you like best" type of thing?
Is there a different place on the site where I can do other effects? Am I uploading them in the wrong place? Or is that all I can do? etc. (If you could explain it thoroughly that would really help because I've never used photoshop before and honestly have no idea what I am doing.)
And if you aren't familiar with Photoshop- what are some other photo editing websites you recommend?
