Ok, Im writing about "The Broken Cord" by Michael Dorris, and how his adopted son, Adam was born with FAS. Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, is caused when a mother consumes alcohol during pregnancy which effects the child with mental and physical deficiencies as it is born, and how Dorris struggles in life taking in a burden of a sick child. As Adam grows old, he is tempted to drink, not knowing of how both his parents died due to alcohol consumption, Dorris explains to him the reason for him not to drink. Although he would not listen, still, Dorris is being a good father, and tries his best to protect him.
Can anyone give me a good title besides "Fetal Alcohol Syndrome"?
