earth science regents and regents dilploma?

U only have to pass 3 sciecne regents for advanced diploma

you have to pass 1 science for a regents diploma and 2 sciences for a advanced diploma if you are taking 4 sciences you have many chances

do i have to pass the regents to get a regular regents diploma not an advanced one?
and im taking bio next year then 2 more sciences after that cuz my school is making it a big deal like i need to pass it
