What effect does the angle of insolation have on heating of the earth’s surface?
A.The lower the angle of insolation, the greater the heating effect will be on the surface.

B. The angle of insolation causes the surface to reflect more sunlight, lowering the heating efficiency.

C.The angle of insolation does not change with latitude, thus creating
the tropical conditions at the equator.

D.The higher the angle of insolation, the greater the heating effect on the surface.

i think is D but it might be A.. because

When sunlight strikes the earth at a low angle its energy is spread out over a large area. This low-angle sunlight does not heat the earth as well as the high-angle sunlight. We experience this each day. In the morning, sunlight strikes the earth at a low angle. It doesn’t heat very well and air temperatures are correspondingly cool. The same is true as the sun approaches the horizon in the evening. But when the sun is straight overhead at noon, its heating is intense. Why the difference? The answer lies in the fact that direct sunlight concentrates more energy per square foot than the low-angle sunlight. Thus the sun heats strongly during the midday hours and less well at morning or evening. This same concept applies to the seasons
