if you eat before the workout it should be something like a smoothie and 2 hours before. if you work out right after rising then afterwards is a good idea.

In theory you should eat something with protein before your work out so that you do not use up the energy stored in your muscles. Personally I am never very good at eating early morning so I would probably opt for boiled eggs and toast to dunk in it before the workout and then take some kind of snacks to enjoy post excercise (maybe fruit and an oatbar, to be taken with plenty of liquid).
