Ealing Films...

I love them, probably because I'm a nostalgia junkie. Not just Ealing films, any old English films. I have some Will Hay films from the Gainsborough studios c1930's, wonderful old films. My fave at the moment is probably The Lavender Hill Mob but it will be something different next week. Just bought a box set of Terry Thomas films from the 1950's, some good films in it but some chaff as well, with a box set you pay your money and take your chance. Alastair Sim's Scrooge was brilliant and one of my all time favorite films.

Any old English film buRAB out there?

It's amazing to think that Britain once had a thriving film industry considering the current sad state of affairs with Lottery funded crap being the order of the day.

Yes, another Ealing Films fan here.
have several but still a few gaps in the collection I need to fill

but also enjoy a lot of other films from around that era too
Alastair Sim is always fun to watch, Green for danger and The Green man are a couple of my favorite Sim's films :)

We're all waiting for 'Valleywood' to get into gear near us.

Last I heard they'd employed 3 security guarRAB.
That's it.
